The Garden Capsule
Six main fabrics and two rib knits in this glorious color palette give you so many different ways to be inspired!
The centerpiece of this Capsule is a gorgeous peonies print french terry from See You At Six. This fabric has so many beautiful pinks, greens, reds and blues that coordinate so nicely with the rest of the fabrics in this set.
Here is a Little Lizard King Napa romper in the french terry and mineral jersey.

We’re changing up notions a bit with this release and will no longer be including elastic - but each bundle will come with a spool or two of coordinating thread!
The Capsule bundles come with the following notions:

- 1 spool Gutermann Sew-All thread in color 723, "Verde Green" (Garden) or 690, “Deep Lagoon” (Explore)

New Fabrics in This Release
Sweatshirt Fleece
Both Capsules come with sweatshirt fleece, a first for Tangerine Originals. This fleece comes from Birch Fabrics and is GOTS certified organic. It’s heavier weight, with a smooth knit on one side and fluffy fleece on the other. This is the fabric we think of when we imagine cozy retro sweatshirts.
Pre-wash as you would other fabrics - cold or warm water and tumble dry low.
You may need a heavier needle for this fabric - our Snuggle Bundle comes with a 90/14 stretch needle (our other bundles come with 75/11), available as an add-on for the Capsule bundles.
This fabric is 70” wide so you may be surprised by how many garments you can get out of one yard!
Printed Interlock
This interlock knit from Birch Fabrics, in an adorable Planetary print, is one of our favorite fabrics! Incredibly soft, particularly after washing, we love this fabric for baby and toddler clothes of all types.
Pre-wash as you would other fabrics - cold or warm water and tumble dry low.
We’ve found these fabrics retain their color & print best over time with a cold wash and line dry for the finished garment.
Smooth Rib Knit
This is such an exciting fabric, and one you don’t see often in the U.S.! Our smooth rib knit this collection is from Elvelyckan Design, and is available in Black and Dark Gold. It’s called “smooth” because while this rib is knitted and stretchy like a typical rib knit you might have worked with before, this fabric has a smooth appearance that looks the same front and back. Kind of like an interlock knit! This fabric is beautiful for cuffs, banding, and binding, as well as for a full garment.
Pre-wash as you would other fabrics - cold or warm water and tumble dry low.
This fabric is 65” wide (compared to 45” for our Birch Fabrics rib knits) so you’ll also get more fabric in each yard.
Smooth rib can feel spongy to sew, so we recommend increasing your stitch length to prevent your needle getting caught up in the thicker fabric.
